Runefire is an open flame. It has multiple abilities called Fires that extinguish your fire. This fires more energy while maintaining cool down, but is not as powerful as the more powerful Redwood Fire.

Runefire will only get more powerful when you upgrade your Fire Stasis. (Redwood Stasis = 3 fire attacks) This is a nice power if you want to change your Fire Stasis as much as possible. It is also powerful if you are running a low health party with a low skill needed for it. Keep this in mind as it will take some skill points from your fire attacks that you will save. While its most popular form of fire in the game, Runefire is not always needed.




You can only have so many runes out in the game in order to run any more challenges.

Runefire gives you a lot more options than Redwood Stasis.

You can have more runes than you can fire in the game.

Runefires can also heal more than Redwood Stasis but this will only work for a set time.




As I stated in my thread on Redwood Stasis, the fire you are trying to level while burning is very different. You can use a different type of Fire (Fire Stasis 2+, Redwood Fire 2+) but that is up to you.

There are many great Fire spells that can make this very efficient.
